Low Level Laser (Cold Laser) Therapy
Low Level Laser Therapy works by supplying energy to the body in the form of billions of photons of light which is of a specific wavelength and has special healing properties. The body absorbs this laser light on a cellular level and transforms it into chemical energy which the body then uses to commence its own tissue repair. The bio-stimulating effect of Laser Therapy causes a decrease in inflammation and pain and an increase in tissue regeneration and healing.

Spine Force Interactive Technology
Spine Force is the first combination of technology and exercise physiology designed to target and tone the 180 intrinsic stabilizer support muscles which reinforce the spinal structure, balance and overall stability and to retrain their specialized nerve pathways in an effort to reduce the onset of debilitating structural conditions that affect 80% to 90% of Americans.

Neurofeedback is an exciting diagnostic and therapeutic tool which actually allows you to see your brainwaves in real time -- and to train your brain!
There are two parts to Neurofeedback therapy:
First there is the Brain Mapping, also known as a quantitative electroencephalogram (QEEG). This is a comprehensive scan of how your brainwaves are functioning using the latest technological advances. The data from this is analyzed by advanced computer software. The result is being able to see your brainwaves -- and whether or not they are in the normal range of healthy functioning.
Next comes the Neurofeedback Training. Neurofeedback training is brainwave biofeedback, literally reconditioning and retraining the brain. With continuing feedback, coaching, and practice, we can usually retrain healthier brainwave patterns!

Upper Body Ergometer (UBE)
The Upper Body Ergometer (UBE) can be used for neuromuscular rehabilitation and increasing core muscle strength.
The UBE allows the user can vary the exercise speed, the work rate, and his/her range of motion for his/her arms. One benefit of the UBE is that it gets the individual to use the muscles of the arms while contributing to the stability of the spine, rib cage, etc. Because of this, the UBE is a safe and effective method to build strength in the neck, upper back and lower back as well as the arms.
In addition, as chiropractic neurologists, the many of the doctors of Adams Chiropractic use the UBE for its neuromuscular benefits. The changing speeds of movements, along with the rotation and other movements of the shoulder, activate a large population of joint and muscle mechanoreceptors. (A mechanoreceptor is a sense organ or cell that responds to mechanical stimuli such as touch or movement.) This increased activation results in an increased frequency of firing of the central neurological structures, like the cerebellum and thalamus. This helps the user to increase in the control of muscles, coordination, and balance.
The Versaclimber is an exercise machine which allows the user to perform the Cross Crawl while encountering strength-training resistance. What is the Cross Crawl? The "cross-crawl" is the same pattern we use when we crawl, walk or run.
When it comes to our neurological make-up, humans are contralateral beings. (Contralateral means on the opposite side from another structure). What this means is, whenever we are walking, running or crawling, the timing and sequencing of how our limbs move in relation to each other is programmed to always be the same. If your right arm goes forward, your left (opposite) leg will do the same. Then when the left arm goes forward, the right leg will move forward too. This is what is meant by a contralateral (cross pattern) neurological organization. This process is learned as a toddler by crawling on the ground.
These neurological patterns are stored in the cerebral cortex, the cerebellum and spinal and peripheral nerves. Performing the Cross Crawl on the Versaclimber, then, allows the user to strengthen these various parts of his/her brain and nervous system and build upper and lower body strength as well. Cross Crawl exercises are a way to reprogram the nervous system, spinal muscles and various systems to work together at their best.
What is infrared? Infrared is a frequency of light beyond the red end of the spectrum. Infrared is very effective in transmitting heat just like rays from the sun, and infrared rays to not damage the skin.
Infrared has been used to help people with: fibromyalgia, chronic pain, insomnia, arthritis, vascular access problems (which affects hemodialysis patients), ischemia (shortage of the blood supply to an organ), impaired vascular endothelial function and other disorders.
Infrared raises the body’s surface temperature. Heat helps increase circulation, which may benefit people who suffer from circulatory issues. Infrared heat increases surface blood flow by promoting dilation of the blood vessels, but it doesn't increase blood pressure.
Studies demonstrate that infrared helps enhance circulation in the skin, regulate sleep, ease pain, protect against oxidative stress, and relieve inflammation. Infrared may help to increase flexibility, relieve discomfort, boost circulation, and relieve stress and fatigue.

What is ultrasound? Sound waves of a frequency so high the human ear can't hear them. They are produced by the treatment head of the ultrasound machine. A special ultrasound gel is placed on the skin to maximize the effect.
Ultrasound has been used to help reduce your pain if a person has:
Osteoarthritis Myofascial pain Bursitis Phantom limb pain
Carpal tunnel syndrome Pain caused by scar tissue Sprains and strains
The ultrasound waves going into the skin causes the vibration in the tissues, which produces heat within the tissues (usually you won't feel it). This increase in heat may help ligaments, tendons, scar tissue, etc., to be able to flex and extend further than before. Ultrasound may also help increase your blood flow in the treated area. And ultrasound may also stimulate your body to produce more collagen, the main protein in soft tissue such as tendons and ligaments.
The BRAIN BACK BODY Exercise Program
The BRAIN BACK BODY Exercise Program is a combination of specific neural integration exercises combined with traditional strength-building protocols. The exercise chapters are divided to focus on specific body areas.
The goal of the program is to increase midline cerebellar activation to increase the frequency of firing of higher brain centers for increased cognition and postural control. This creates smoother motions, better appearance, and improved thinking.

Sonix: Sonic Whole Body Vibration Machine
What is Sonic Whole-Body Vibration?
Sonic Whole-Body Vibration (SWBV) employs a speaker system with new magnetic circuits. Sonic Whole-Body Vibration -- which is in a natural vertical plane of motion -- has fully adjustable intensity, and is a true sine wave directional change. All of this results in a much more enjoyable and healthy vibrational exercise experience.
Many types of intermediate sports, like walking, power walking, horse riding, etc. are all performed at low frequencies, between 1 ~ 8 Hz. It is now possible with SWBV to exercise at these ultra low frequencies. The movements are only vertical, which is the direction we experience through most of our physical activities.

Electric Muscle Stimulation Therapy
Electric Muscle Stimulation Therapy (also called E Stim or EMS) uses a safe level of electrical impulses targeted to a specific muscle or group of muscles. This electric current stimulates these muscles to contract. The goal of Electric Stimulation is to strengthen muscles and to decrease pain and inflammation. Electric Stimulation has been used to help with tension headaches, numbness of limbs, muscle spasms, back pain and neck pain.
