The Back-to-School Drive
August 19 to 24, 2019
How happy we are to have had another successful Back-to-School Drive! For many years, Adams Chiropractic Offices has held our Back-to-School Drive as a way of contributing to our community in order to allow people to donate newly purchased school supplies and exchange them for one day's chiropractic services. For the week of August 19th to 24th, our doctors donated their time and professional services as a contribution to the community of Sonoma Valley.
We'd like to express our thanks to many of our long-time patients who made this event possible by showing great generosity with their donations of school supplies in exchange for one day's chiropractic services. Also, many who are just starting chiropractic care at Adams Chiropractic exchanged school items for chiropractic care.
In addition, we would like to give a great big thanks to all of you who donated school supplies just for the sake of giving to those in our community who have less. Some of you were neighbors who saw our display and wanted to give, even though you weren't getting chiropractic treatment in return. All of the school supplies collected will be taken to a local Sonoma Valley school.
Many thanks to all of you who played a part in making our annual Back-to-School Drive possible.
Please be sure to check back on this page next year for details about the Back-to-School Drive next August!
The Back-to-School Drive is just one of the ways in which we work with the public to play a positive role in supporting our community. For the week of the Drive, our doctors donate their time and professional services so as to allow people to donate newly purchased school supplies and exchange them for one day's chiropractic services. And, during the Drive, our office becomes a drop-off point for school supplies to be distributed to a local school.
Anyone who would like to participate in the Back-to-School Drive may bring in newly purchased school supplies to the offices of Adams Chiropractic Offices, located at 101 Andrieux St in Sonoma. At the end of the Drive, all school supplies collected will be donated to a local Sonoma Valley school, so that these can be put to good use in the classroom to benefit both the teachers and the children. Adams Chiropractic Offices would like to thank in advance all those who wish to contribute, as well as all who participated in our Back-to-School Drives in past years.
Also, for those of you in the community who are patients at Adams Chiropractic Offices -- or for anyone who wishes to begin chiropractic care -- you can take advantage of a great offer! You can exchange newly purchased school supplies for chiropractic services! To speak with someone about the Drive, or to book an appointment for the week of the Drive, please call our office at (707) 996-4535.
On Tuesday, August 20, all Established Patients (patients currently seeking treatment in our office) can receive a chiropractic adjustment in exchange for 10 or more items of school supplies.
For the week of August 19 to 24, all New Patients (patients who have not sought treatment in our office before, or not for the past year) will be able to receive a consultation, thorough orthopedic, neurological and chiropractic examinations, any necessary x-rays, as well as a report of our findings, in exchange for 15 or more items of school supplies. You can learn more about our doctors by visiting our "Meet The Doctor" page.
Some suggestions of school items needed are: facial tissue, post-it sticky notes, #2 pencils, erasers, manilla folders, colored markers, glue sticks, pens, paper, binders, peechees, calculators, rulers, crayons, highlighters, paper clips, backpacks, sports equipment.
Try this: Buy a backpack and fill it up with school supplies!
The suggested number of items is in order to make the value of school supplies donated the equivalent of the value of the services received. (A chiropractic adjustment is normally $53; a no-insurance new patient start-up package is normally around $219). This offer cannot be extended to patients with Personal Injury or Workers' Compensation cases, although they are still invited to donate school supplies. The value of donated items may not be applied to decrease an existing balance. School supplies will be accepted in exchange for services for one day only per patient. For more information, ask a Staff Member at Adams Chiropractic Offices.
